New home for Executive MBA

The Executive MBA program moved to a new home at the Virginia Tech Research Center in Arlington this past spring.

All cohorts began classes there on March 1, said Maureen Hall, executive director of the program, which was formerly located at university's Northern Virginia Center in Falls Church.

“The new space is a great recruiting tool,” Hall said. “When prospective candidates walk in, they are immediately impressed with the state-of-the art facilities. The building is also in a very visible and accessible location.”

Executive MBA students meet alternate weekends, on Friday, at 2-9 p.m., and Saturday, at 8:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. The program occupies about 1-2 classrooms a weekend and about three offices.

The seven-floor, 144,000-square-foot, LEED-certified center, located at 900 North Glebe Road, opened in June 2011 and houses a number of the university's research centers and institutes.
