Business vets in the classroom

Pamplin students have a wide array of opportunities to learn and a diverse corps of faculty to learn from. In addition to the core group of professors who hold doctorates, pursue research, and publish scholarly articles, Pamplin teachers include veterans of Wall Street and Madison Avenue and seasoned executives from Fortune 500 manufacturing firms and community banks.

Joining academe after years in the business world, they contribute to the Pamplin educational experience through classroom teaching, academic advising, and career mentoring, while developing enjoyable encore careers for themselves.
